چکیده
Sago hampas are a waste with high starch content. The from sago can be used as raw material for bioplastics. However, because bioplastics have lower heat resistance than conventional plastics, additives required to increase resistance. Aluminum oxide metal compound that acts an additive Bioplastics were created using weight percentage of 0, 1, 3, and 5% Al2O3. DTA was determine the melting point bioplastics, well their mechanical properties, density, water best results identified FTIR SEM. showed adding Al2O3 at increased points 270, 274, 280 oC. Except obtained oC, tensile strength 3.41 Mpa, elongation 38.66%, density 5.52 g cm-3, 80.28% suitable on Indonesian National Standard 7188.7:2016. analysis revealed containing experienced physical interactions. Recovery of Glucose from Residual Starch of Sago Hampas for Bioethanol Production
Lower concentration of glucose was often obtained from enzymatic hydrolysis process of agricultural residue due to complexity of the biomass structure and properties. High substrate load feed into the hydrolysis system might solve this problem but has several other drawbacks such as low rate of reaction. In the present study, we have attempted to enhance glucose recovery from agricultural waste...
متن کاملBioconversion and Enzymatic Activities of Neurospora Sitophila Grown Under Solid State and Submerged Fermentation on Sago Hamps (RESEARCH NOTE)
N.sitophila was grown under controlled conditions of solid state and submerged fermentation on Sago hampas. The optimum conditions of protein enrichment previously established for sugar beet pulp was used for this study. Under this condition the protein content of Sago hampas under solid state increased from 1.4 to 14.45% (W/W) whereas for Sago hampas and Sago starch, the protein content under ...
متن کاملOptimization of cyclodextrin production from sago starch.
Cyclodextrin (CD) is synthesized by bacterial cyclodextrin glycosyltransferase (CGTase) and is widely used in food, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, and agricultural industries. In this study, Bacillus circulans CGTase was partially purified by ammonium sulfate precipitation at 50-70% saturation. The optimum pH and temperature for CD production from sago starch were found to be in the ranges of 4.5-5....
